lawyer can apply for a Temporary Restriction Order (TRO) and then apply for a preliminary injunction to stop the prohibited activities. 

In the preliminary injunction stage, you and your lawyer can present evidence of damage to your business and seek to recover the 

economic losses suffered as a result of the violation.

Tracing the enforcement of non compete agreements is challenging, as the court cannot order the cessation of restrictive activities 

that have occurred in the past and are no longer prohibited by the non compete agreement. However, if the former employee 

continues to violate the terms of the non compete agreement during the litigation period, the court may extend the injunction 

beyond the expiration date of the agreement, especially if the violation is "sustained and long-lasting".
